CLASSES
At Sound Club, students of all experience levels explore the exciting world of music production, sound design, DJing, and audio engineering through hands-on classes that foster creativity, collaboration, and digital skills. Using industry-standard software and professional equipment, students learn to create, record, mix, and produce original music in a supportive, fun, and inspiring environment.
Sound Design/DJ
Our DJ Class introduces kids to the art of sound creation, beat making, and live DJ performance in a fun, hands-on environment. Students learn how to use real DJ controllers, explore different music styles, and build the confidence to create and perform their own sets. Whether they’re mixing their first track or spinning for an audience, kids gain creative skills and musical knowledge that inspire self-expression and rhythm-based learning.
Sound Design / Foley
Bring stories to life through the power of sound! In this hands-on class, students learn how professional sound designers create the sound and effects heard in movies, animation, video games, and other digital media.
Using professional recording equipment and industry-standard audio software, students will create, record, edit, and mix original sound and effects while learning the art of Foley—the process of recreating everyday sounds to match on-screen action. From footsteps and doors closing to explosions, weather, and fantasy effects, students will discover how sound enhances emotion and storytelling.
Throughout the course, students will work on creative projects by adding sound effects and audio to short films and animation while developing technical skills in recording, editing, layering, and mixing sound. They’ll also gain experience using microphones, digital audio workstations, and professional production techniques used throughout the entertainment industry.
Perfect for beginners and creative minds alike, this class encourages imagination while building valuable audio production skills. By the end of the course, students will have created original sound design projects and developed a strong foundation in sound design and Foley.
Music Production and Recording
Turn your musical ideas into professional and quality songs while learning the complete music production process from creating beats and arranging tracks to recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
Using Logic Pro, one of the industry’s leading digital audio workstations, you’ll learn how to build songs from the ground up. Create beats, compose melodies, record vocals and instruments, and arrange your music using the same professional tools trusted by top producers and engineers.
You’ll also gain hands-on experience in recording and audio engineering, including microphone techniques, signal flow and mixing. Learn how to shape your sound using EQ, compression, reverb and other effects across a variety of genres, including hip-hop, pop, EDM, R&B, and more.
Whether you’re interested in producing your own music, recording artists, creating podcasts, or exploring audio engineering, this beginner-friendly class provides the technical skills and creative foundation to bring your ideas to life.
No experience is required. Our instructors will guide you step by step, and by the end of the course, you’ll have produced your own original music while developing real-world recording and production skills used in today’s music industry.
